Overview
Who's Spy? is a local party game for iPhone. The app is designed to work without creating an account, without social login, and without requiring names, email addresses, phone numbers, contact lists, photos, microphone access, or location permission to play.
This policy explains what information may be stored or processed when you use the app, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information You Provide in the App
During setup, you may enter player names or nicknames. These names are only used to run local game rounds and display role reveal screens. You should avoid entering sensitive personal information as player names.
Information Stored Locally
The app may save gameplay preferences on your device, such as recent player names, selected language, selected categories, round duration, spy count, and other setup choices. This helps you start a new round faster. Local data remains on your device unless you remove the app or clear related device data.
Game Content and Remote Data
Who's Spy? may use Firebase to deliver or update game content such as category data. When the app requests content, Firebase may process technical information such as IP address, device information, app instance information, request timestamps, and network metadata that is necessary to provide, protect, and troubleshoot the service.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Purchase status may be managed through RevenueCat so the app can unlock Pro categories, restore purchases, and keep access in sync with your Apple account. We do not receive your payment card number, banking information, or full Apple account credentials.
RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, entitlement status, product identifiers, transaction metadata, and device/app identifiers needed to validate and restore purchases.
Analytics and Advertising
Who's Spy? does not sell personal information and does not show third-party ads. The app is not designed around advertising profiles. If analytics or diagnostics are enabled in the future, they will be used to understand app reliability, improve gameplay quality, and diagnose crashes or errors.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to run game rounds, remember your setup choices, deliver category content, unlock Pro purchases, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and maintain app reliability.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be processed by service providers that help operate the app, including Apple for App Store purchases, RevenueCat for purchase management, and Firebase for app content delivery and infrastructure.
Retention
Local preferences remain on your device until you change them, delete the app, or clear device data. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide purchase validation, restore access, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud.
Security
We use platform services and service providers intended to protect app functionality and purchase validation. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but the app is designed to avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive information.
Children's Privacy
The app is intended for general entertainment and local group play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
International Processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, they are responsible for using appropriate safeguards for international processing.
Your Choices
You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device. You can restore eligible purchases from the app's paywall using the Restore option. App Store purchase and refund requests are handled by Apple.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app changes, when service providers change, or when legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this version became active.
